I found out I was a visual thinker in college while studying interior design.  At the time all design was done by hand, no computers existed.  I reveled in drawing and designing interiors including floor plans and perspective drawings. Upon graduating, the computer had taken over drawing floor plans, schematics, and presentation drawings, and pretty much the whole office. Needless to say, I wasn't happy about having to work on the computer keyboard all day, and have kept on doing what i love, painting- that is, with my hands and artists' tools.

I am really a domestic diva of sorts- I love painting interiors, food, and still lifes.
Nothing brings me more satisfaction than being in my studio drawing and painting,
watching something beautiful come from a simple sketch.
The southwest has captivated me for years and I often incorporate themes from there.
